UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K Packet Pickup and Health Fair
Due to overwhelming interest, all of our appointments are now full for the prescheduled screenings. We look forward to seeing everyone this week.
Calling all runners, walkers, and their friends, family, and neighbors! UTHealth Houston is looking forward to a wonderful and engaging packet pickup for the half marathon & 10K! We are welcoming everyone to our facility in Bellaire for packet pickup on Friday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a second year, UTHealth Houston is hosting a festive health fair on the ground floor of the building. Here is a look at some of the opportunities available:
- Mobility and muscle activation exercise demonstrations
- Learn the proper use of athletic tape
- Dental screenings offered (Saturday only)
- Vision screenings
- Basic skin cancer screening
- Yoga
- Facepainting for children
- Interactive games
- Lessons in container gardening
Prescheduled no-cost screenings will also be offered on the second floor inside our clinic. The screenings include varicose vein and arterial screening, carotid artery screening and electrocardiogram (EKG), or a well-woman’s exam. Please go to the second floor if you wish to participate in those screenings.
For easy access to the clinic, park on the south side of the garage roof to walk directly into the facility. If you park on another garage floor, take the elevator to the second floor for preregistered screenings. Once inside the clinic, proceed to the check-in desk.
All screenings are preliminary in nature and do not constitute medical care and treatment. It is the participant’s responsibility to follow up on any screening recommendations that are provided.
The deadline to sign up for the preregistered screenings is Monday, Oct. 21. Friends and family are welcome to register for any screening offered.

Parking Information
The Bellaire Station parking garage is located on N 1st St. Free garage parking is available at our north entrance. Overflow parking is available at the south entrance.
The health fair is located on the ground floor of the building.
