The stroke program, which has substantially expanded over the years to encompass the full spectrum of stroke care and stroke research, has divisions in pre-hospital care, acute stroke, brain hemorrhage, stroke recovery/rehabilitation, stroke prevention, telemedicine, and neuroimaging. Our vision is to continue leading acute stroke care in the nation with an experienced clinical stroke team by forging strong partnerships with EMS and Emergency Medicine, running a high quality inpatient stroke unit, and conducting clinical trials testing innovative therapies.
