Neither doctor I saw explained adequately about the "AI" device they brought into the room. I don't/did not understand what that was or what it was for. I wish I had refused it but was caught off guard.

Dr. Hua was very professional and compassionate, and very clear with his (INAUDIBLE), and I was very pleased to be treated by him.

Dr. Said he would refer me to Physical Therapist in San Antonio, where I live,he is familiar with, instead he referred me back to Hermann and has been difficult to reconnect for PT... clearly a miscommunication.

Very professional and courteous. Procedures were explain in a way that I understood. Thank you to Dr. Hua and his staffs

I wish that they had told me to request previous records be sent before my appointment. I arrived to the appointment and they had to try and request records after I was there, and the doctor was unable to see my previous sleep study or medication records. I still don't know if the records were ever received.

I've been to three other ENTs. I have terribly bad asthma and COPD from working in a chemical plant, chemical refinery. The doctors just couldn't do anything. They didn't even try that hard. But Dr. Edmund, a UT doctor, he diagnosed the problem. He showed me in the camera what my problem was. He took care of it. I'm really happy with the outcome. The pain is finally gone. After the second surgery, the pain is finally gone. I can breathe better than I ever had before. I'm 65 years old. It's the best I've ever breathed in my life. So, no, I've been telling everybody about them. And more and more people I speak to tell me they have symptoms, so like my exact sleep apnea now as well. But I've had it for 20 years, and now, the last couple of days, I haven't done any snoring either. So I'm just really happy. I'm just really happy. I'm just really happy.

I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Hua. I appreciated his efficiency and use of technology. He was very clear in his communication and he was also a great listener.

Feb 5, 2025

Well, I received all the medical care from all the doctors who looked after me. They treated me well and knew what they were doing. I got the best care.

Feb 5, 2025

Dr. Very good at explaining his findings and showing us the results of the cat scan. And explaining why surgery was necessary.

I wanted to share my experience from my appointment today with the ENT specialist. My appointment was scheduled for 2:15 PM, and I was called back by the nurse at 2:20 PM. However, after waiting in the exam room for 30 minutes, the nurse informed me at 2:50 PM that the doctor was still with another patient and would be in shortly. I ultimately waited until 3:07 PM before the doctor arrived. This experience was frustrating, as it resulted in an hour of wasted time for both me and my husband, who took time off work and missed important meetings to be present for the discussion about my deviated septum and upcoming surgery. I understand that doctors have busy schedules, but if there are significant delays due to multiple patients being seen at the same time, I believe patients should not be asked to arrive so early just to sit and wait. We all have commitments, and excessive wait times like this give the impression that patient time is not valued. I hope UT Physicians can consider better scheduling practices to minimize such delays in the future.

I don't like the fact that they don't carry with my insurance. I had to call for myself to get an appointment. And I don't like the fact that the parking spot is so high there.

Unfortunately, it appears that Dr. Hua fell into the age old trap of making a differential diagnosis, and conducting his H & P to fit the differential diagnosis. One of the dead giveaways was the fact that Dr Hua had an immediate answer to every question that I asked, including answers about my VNS therapy. That said, I feel confident that doctor Hua did exactly what he needed to do as far as clinical tests, H & P, etc. Fortunately, Doctor Hua had the insight and the humility to refer me to a specialist that deals with issues beyond the vocal cords. Dr. Hua was personable, easy to communicate with, and clearly knew his specialty. Of course, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

I was treated very nice by the doctor and the staff.

Jan 8, 2025

Take more tine to listen to the patient's concerns about their health history.

Dec 27, 2024

Had a very nice experience thank you very much.

Dec 20, 2024

The waiting area was very unsanitary and I was not able to sit while waiting to see doctor. The receptionists that were present did wipe down a couple of seats. I was very disappointed that the waiting area was so unclean and posed a health hazard to the public. I made a complaint to personnel in suite 2700 and building. Pray when I return for my next appointment this matter has been resolved.

From the moment I got to the appointment I felt at ease. From the front desk staff to everyone in between. I felt like an old established patient even though it was my first visit. Dr. Hua was very kind and took the time to listen to and answer all of my questions. He has a very soothing manner about him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing his type of services.
