Theodore E. Inthaphom, PA-C, joined the UT Physicians orthopedic surgery team in 2020. He has been working with Shah-Nawaz Dodwad, MD, aiding in treating and caring for patients with complex conditions ranging from degenerative spinal diseases to tumors and severe scoliosis.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Dallas Baptist University in 2009, followed by his Bachelor of Science degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2012. He then worked as a respiratory therapist at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, for over three years. Theodore received his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2019. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Theodore met his wife in high school. Together they have ventured on multiple medical mission trips overseas, giving free aid to those in need. He is a proud member of First Baptist Laotian Church in Tomball, Texas.

Teddy was great! I love that he spoke directly to my 16 year old daughter, instead of to me, as the parent.
I like how I was able to check in on line, and had a much shorter wait time, to get called into a treatment room. I like the process of getting an exray, and getting the results right away for the doctor to see, therefore him getting a decision on how to proceed in my treatment. I like how the doctor took his time to explain my health problems, and treatments, answering any questions I had. In all I had a very professional, and positive experience.
Everything was fine, except for some reason they didn't give me an appointment early and it took me almost 4 weeks after my accident to get care.

When Duncan and the nurses staff, when I walked in the registry, they were very nice, very efficient, very polite and patient. And I got to see the doctor. It was very informative. He was very friendly. He was very helpful. I enjoyed going to him. And there's not too many doctors you can really enjoy, but this doctor made me feel comfortable, dependent on my health, and enjoyed just to visit with him. He gave me so much information. I had no questions when I was sick and enjoyed to visit with the nurses also.

I was treated very courteous and I felt like the staff really cared about my well-being and I left with a really feeling that I was in good hands to take care of my health problems.
Dr. Dodwah and Theodore (Teddy) have always treated me with deep respect from the very first visit. I had gone to other doctors about my back pain and all they did was have me to try different medications, I felt like they were turning me into a "Legal" drug addict. Since my surgery 2 years ago I am off all pain meds, and I have my life back. I thank God every day for them and have referred them to several people, even strangers.
I had a very useful visit. The provider was very throrough and went over the XRay with me, showing and explaining my spine. He agree that I would benefit from further therapy to help with core strength and recommended a visit to a pain doctor.
I received good information on my diagnosis today. My hardware was still intact .
Care from this provider has been great so far. With office visits to surgery and post ops. They explain well and listen to you and provide feedback. Office personnel are also very good. Have had no issues whatsoever.

This Team is exceptional. From my Pre-OP to my Post -OP they have been professional and understanding. I would highly recommend them to everyone who needs this type of surgery and care
