Tanya M. Crabtree, APRN, DNP, FNP-BC, is a certified nurse practitioner caring for orthopedic surgery patients.
Crabtree began her medical career in 1996 as a nursing assistant and continued her education, completing the registered nurse program in 1998 at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. In 2014, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. After graduating, Crabtree worked at a North Carolina neurosurgical practice until relocating to Houston. Before joining UT Physicians, she worked for a large chemical/refinery plant, assessing and managing work injuries.
Outside of work, Crabtree enjoys spending time with her husband and Great Dane rescues. She enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, and traveling.

Well, I am happy with the care I received while I was there, I'm not happy with the follow-up. I came in, I think it was Monday, and saw someone, and I was supposed to have gotten in to see someone before today, which is Thursday. I still have not seen someone. I have an open wound. It gets bigger and bigger by the day, and I don't see, no one has been taking action on it, and I've been calling trying to get people to do something, but no one is doing anything. I am very, very upset about that, and I need to be seen by someone, and either restitched or something has to be done, other than what's being done, which is nothing. I've called the doctor off hours. I've done, I've called the office over and over. Not happy right now. I'm happy with the aftercare. I need to see someone, like, yesterday

Everyone demonstrated concern and were so kind.i was seen immediately. X-ray was painless and timely.the nurse practitioner was excellent and listened to me . It was a very good experience.
