Dr. Susan Pelini joined the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in September 2009 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Pelini is certified diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.

I was there )my mistake) a day early. The receptionist checked me in and did not say a word! Did not even see i had the wrong date!! I sat for almost half hour before the tech from the clinic came to inform me dr Pelini did not have appointment on that date. Although it wasn't their fault i was there on the wrong date; both the tech and receptionist were totally uninterested. It was really frustrating to see a lack of empathy.

My appointment was for 8:40 am. It was 9:30 before the resident came into the examination room. I understand that delays happen, but 50 minutes is extreme. Have to say this doesn't happen at the Bellaire station.
Good morning Dr. Pelini has been my doctor for years and I trust her with my life if it wasn't for her I may not still be here. I would recommend her to my family friends and anyone walking up and down the street but I would like to keep her just for my doctors and no one else's, but she's too good of a doctor not to share her. I thank her for everything.

My appointment was at 3:15 and the doctor did not see me until 5 pm. The doctor appeared to want me to lead the meeting by asking questions. I was there for an annual physical and left frustrated and feeling it was a waste of my time.
I was early and i was pleasantly surprised to be cared for as soon as I got there. Dr. Pelini is the best!
