Salman A. Arain, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology specialist with expertise in angioplasty and stenting. He treats acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrhythmias, heart blockage, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and unstable angina.

I finally found my interventional cardiologist! I walked in with concern and left with a smile. He is a real doctor with experience. He is not only a scientist but a person with understanding, empathy, a light and joyful heart. He communicates like a gem. Expectations are clear. He explained the what, why, where and solutions. This is a gentleman and a doctor whom a patient can be the patient and know there is transparency and communication. He is the first cardiologist I have belief and trust in and he is deserving. I am happy now that I understand and I don't wonder and worry every minute. I did. Now I don't. Imagine a doctor doing this for you - a person he just met. I have been a CEO of a 52 location medical group and SVP of a hospital system and a patient. I have met thousands of doctors. He is at the top. And he transfers his Joy abd dedication to his staff - it is very obvious.

Good evening. I had very, very strong help, explanation, especially from Dr. Arain and Ivy before Dr. Arain came in. So, yeah, both of them were very, very thorough in checking all the history on my, including my recent history, which was only a couple of days ago. So, yeah, they did a great job, both of them. Long wait and the visit instructions did not align with the visit format. All instructions referred to a video visit but it ended up being a simple call with a lot of ambiguous parts
I love Dr. Arain. He is such a personal, caring physician, cardiologist, and he always treats me like I wish I wanted to be treated all the time, knowing he's my doctor, and I really, really appreciate him.
Your IT check in system sucks! I checked in - it displayed that I was properly checked in and would be seen shortly. 25 minutes later someone informed me that the system didn't always work as expected and I also needed to check in at the front desk. I think you might agree that a whole lot of questions and observations could be made from this AND the solution can be immediate and cost nothing. Anyway Rodneka came to our rescue and smoothed our way forward to a great session with Dr. Arain.

I had my Pet-scan on 03/08 & followup today with Dr Siropaides. He highly recommended that I get with Dr Arain ASAP. I sent pictures to y'all via the MyUTHealth app about an hour ago.
The staff (unreadable) this weekend is excellent, from those at the front desk to the nurse and doctor, all very attentive and efficient.

Need to have parking garages better marked. I always end up parking on building away and have to take the breezeway.
