Russell B. Thomas, PA-C, earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of West Florida in 2009 and his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from the University of South Alabama in 2012.
Thomas began working for the UT Physicians Orthopedics at Ironman Sports Medicine Institute – Memorial City team in 2012. Thomas has extensive experience seeing adult orthopedic injuries. He also is a sideline provider for Spring Branch ISD athletes.
When not seeing patients, Thomas enjoys serving in his church, traveling, hiking, eating good food, and spending time with his wife and son.

Russell answered all my questions. He gives good advice and what I should be doing and not be doing either my shoulder .
Russell Thomas is very caring, professional , unhurried PA. He was concerned by the con't minimal bilateral shoulder progress re: ROM & pain. He actively decided on steroid injections externally & fluoroscopically during this visit . I do so appreciate his take action approach instead of " wait & see ." Results TBD.

Dr. Russell is very professional and pleasant. He uses good examples of what I need to do to get the most out of my shoulder after surgery. I'm encouraged to keep going to PT and to perform my exercises at home.

also got to see the surgeon, and also found out compressed discs in neck, future help needed.
My post op visit exceeded my expectations. I was arrived and called to the back almost immediately. Mr. Russell reviewed my surgical images and explained the repair procedure in detail to me. He explained my physical therapy expectations and expected outcomes as well as a tentative time frame for return to work. I am very pleased with the services provided to me by all of the office staff.

the wait time is very short, unlike other dr. offices where you may wait a long time after your appointed time. the staff is very attentive and cordial.

Put the street address on your building. My visit prompt, professional and responsive. In and out in 30 mins with an X-ray and shot.
Russell and [...] are an excellent team and provided me with excellent care. I really liked how thorough Russell was and how he too the time to show me the x-rays and explain everything to me.
