Pushan Jani, M.D., has been practicing medicine since 2007. He is fellowship-trained in interventional pulmonary medicine and critical care. He believes in regular screenings and preventative care. His patients find his honesty and efficiency welcoming. He treats primarily teens, adults and seniors. Dr. Jani’s practice philosophy is summarized by “early diagnosis, compassionate care.”
His expertise includes treating patients with abnormal chest imaging, pulmonary nodules, lung tumors, lung cancer screening and pleural diseases. He also provides endoscopic lung volume reduction in treatments for severe COPD patients, and he provides Bronchial Thermoplasty treatment for patients with severe asthma.
As part of a team of practitioners, he offers multimodality cancer care with the onsite presence of specialists in medical oncology, radiology and radiation oncology.
Pushan Jani, M.D., is also an assistant professor in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He has received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2017 and 2018; nominations for physician of the year between 2016-2018, and awarded Faculty of the Year in 2015.
