Pouran Yousefi, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.

Dr Yousefi is it rare provider who listens, empathizes and solves the reasons you've come in for. She always makes you feel like you're the most important patient and that she has no other patients to get to. She give you the time you need and is willing to go beyond her scope of care for you. I find that she takes the burden off of other healthcare providers. She does the work they should've done. She does it so that the patient is taken care of completely. Her medical assistant is also extremely friendly and empathetic. I think her name is Mona. Mona goes the extra mile and that is why Mona and Dr. Yousefi make a great team.
