Pouran Yousefi, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.
Dr. Yousefi’s focus is on wellness from pediatric patients to seniors. She believes in preventative medicine to stay healthy.
Before coming to UT Physicians in 2010, Dr. Yousefi was at Baylor College of Medicine.

Well, my doctor takes good time with you and answers questions and explains things and I absolutely love her for that. Usually when I have to wait for her, I have to wait a good little while. But otherwise, I think she's really, really a great doctor and I appreciate her. Probably because she does take time with her patients. Maybe that's why I have to wait. But she is a very good person and doctor and I am glad to have her.

The office location in Missouri City runs very efficiently. I have enjoyed going there in the location and being inside of Sienna. I absolutely love, love, love Dr. Yousefi. She has an awesome bedside manner. She always takes the time to ask me about my sister, which I really appreciate. She spends the necessary time with me in order to ensure that I understand all of her instructions. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a new physician. Will I continue to see her? Yes, I will until she decides she wants to retire one day. I love her. It's an absolute blessing to have her as my physician.
