Dr. Pauline Filipek is a professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.
Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric neurology, Dr. Filipek treats patients from infancy with a focus on younger children. In practice since 1986, Dr. Filipek has been recognized with the Regional Center of Orange County, California, SPOTLIGHT Award “for outstanding service to people with developmental disabilities.”
Dr. Filipek’s practice philosophy centers on listening to parents’ concerns about their child and empowering them to help a child with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders. Her practice continues to follow all patients after diagnosis, providing advocacy to promote the best and most appropriate interventions for children with ASD and other developmental disorders.

She's very quick and moody. Seems like she doesn't like working anymore. You can't explain anything to her without her cutting you off rudely and cutting the conversation short. She was rude the first time, and I thought to give her the benefit of the doubt & agreed to see her a second time. Still rude. Thinking hard on switching drs. I don't have the patience I've been having for a 3rd visit with this lady's attitude.

Everything was excellent, the visit with Dr. Filipek was excellent, she treated me quickly and well, explained everything, and also looked for an interpreter to better understand everything was magnificent. Good service from Dr. [...], I would recommend her to more people because she has a specialty in taking care of children and for the staff and she takes the child, she has a good explanation to draw one's attention so that one can see every detail that she gives us about the paperwork to have more security for the child.
