I was called from waiting room in about 10 minutes. After my vitals were done, it was an hour before doctor came in and she was rushed because she had an appointment starting at 2 My appointment was at 12 and it was 1:12 before the doctor came in. She apologized but someone could and should have let me know there would be such a long wait. Definitely not good!!!
I'm very happy to finally find a physician who can take the time to listen to my complex issues.
Dr. Amjad was extremely solicitous and very patient. He took an extraordinary amount of time to understand not only our mother, but the family dynamics, what needs to happen, what's a good future plan, how we can handle things better. I was very pleased with my new primary at UT Physicians. She listened carefully. She took down all information. She was concerned about any health problems. She really listened, which sometimes you just don't get. So she's my new primary, and I'm very happy with her. I think she was great.
This was my initial visit...facility was spotless with friendly receptionists and self-checkin kiosks, limited wait time, and spent over an hour with my new female doctor, met 2 of her 3 nursing staff, left with two specialist appointments to address my concerns, and returned two days later (with no appointment needed) for blood work and urine sample. 36 hours later I read the lab results on my computer. Best experience since my small-town doctor retired and I downsized to the big city!
Dr. Amjad spent lists of time with me and referred me to several other doctors for evaluation. She was pretty thorough!
Expected a full exam..... didn't feel internal organs, check eyes, feel breasts, or ask about my physical exercise
