Neethu Menon, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric hematology/oncology specialist. She treats a variety of blood disorders in children and young women.
She’s an associate professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and the founder and director of the Young Women’s Bleeding Disorders program at UTHealth Houston for the management of heavy menstrual bleeding and associated comorbidities. She is also the hematology representative of UTHealth Houston’s Vascular Anomalies Program for the treatment of patients with sirolimus.
Menon has presented and published case reports and original research articles on various hematology topics, including sickle cell anemia, thrombosis, bleeding disorders, and vascular anomalies.
Menon received her degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in 2006. She completed her residency in pediatrics there in 2010 before going on to complete another residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2015. She completed her fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2018.
Outside of work, she enjoys music and yoga.

I love my provider, but the wait time to see my provider was extremely long. All the staff was nice though. I especially wanna commend lady who does the blood work. I forgot her name, but she is very nice and she even remembered my son right away even though it had been six months since he last saw her.
I was so impressed with how caring everyone was, from the receptionist, to the nurse to the resident and the doctor. I feel blessed to have this team to help my daughter. Thank you!

A unique experience, all the staff very dedicated and attentive.
I felt very rushed during my daughters visit and didn't have the opportunity to address all my questions. It seemed like my daughter's provider was unavailable due to scheduling conflicts, which made the appointment feel disorganized. I understand that providers have multiple patients, but my expectation is that if an appointment is scheduled for a certain time, the provider should be available within that time frame or at least within a few minutes. Unfortunately, that expectation wasn't met. Because of overlapping schedules and other commitments, I wasn't able to discuss all of my concerns or ask the necessary questions.
Dr. Menon is an amazing provider. He does everything right. She follows up, checks on you, she will ask questions, overall well-being of my child and not just, you know, the sickness. She's very detailed and I just love the way she takes care of her patients and everything else. So I would definitely recommend her and I commend her. We are definitely very glad with our services with Dr. Menon.
