Monica Arango, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist. She treats children and adolescents with endocrine conditions, including issues with puberty, growth, diabetes, thyroid gland, and other disorders.
She’s an advocate for children’s health on a global level. Strengthening programs that promote preventive medical care to underserved and underprivileged communities and collaborating with health care providers worldwide are top priorities in her practice.
Arango is a member of the Pediatric Endocrinology Society, the Endocrine Society, the European Society of Endocrinology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Born and raised in Pereira, Colombia, Arango’s interests outside of work are traveling, biking, nutrition, and organic foods.

I love it when I take my children because they treat me very well. They are very kind, the staff is excellent. I do recommend Dr. Monica Arango.
Dr. Arango and Makayla are absolutely amazing. We always enjoy our visits and they take really great care of my son.
Upon entering the clinic we didn't feel welcomed nor did it feel kid friendly. No smiling faces at all. The nurse showed us his growth chart instead of the doctor. The Pedtrician met us with "What can I do for you today at our son's 6 month question along with questions that weren't specific to our son, such as do you live in this area. We didn't feel heard really or welcomed. He also bled for the first time while getting his vaccines and I was met with he tensed up instead of an apology from the nurse. This location isn't as kid friendly as the Rosenberg location is. I also messaged the pedestrian regarding his bleeding and she never responded.
Everyone in the office is very kind and attentive
Both our nurse and Dr Arango are great with my daughter. They listen to her patiently and help her laugh and stay calm even during tougher times like needle sticks. We never feel rushed and we recieve wonderful advice and care.

Well, I would like to have more attention when it comes to seeing if my baby is sick and I have some questions about what to do with the B and I don't know where to go. They already told me that I could use the Portal and that the doctor would already receive the messages that I put in, but I would like a live call with someone who can have me, that is, with the doctor, so that I can tell her, doctor, the girl is vomiting and she tells me. Okay, let's do this, doctor. The girl feels bad, the girl is, let's do this, not having to send a message to a portal and then this way that they see it, I would like more direct communication with the doctor, because for example, the girl has an appointment that lasts until she is 2 years old, that is, in 6 months the girl will not have contact with her doctor or if during this time she is sick.

They are very kind. Personally, I love the attention they give to my babies. They are excellent in their care.
I liked the attention received from Dr. Monica Arango, her nurse, and the rest of the staff. Having a printed summary of the visit, as well as through the app, which is a very comprehensive tool for follow-up, was also great.

My kids love Dr. Monica Arango, she is the best and always taking care of my kids like if they are hers. We don't feel rush when we go and see her and she is always answering all of our questions. I highly recommend Dr. Arango.

I am very happy with the service there and how well she treats my son. The issue I have is the cost of a doctor's visit there is just so expensive. It costs almost $300 to be in there for like 30 minutes, and that's not doing lab work. That's not having anybody else come in, talk like a nutritionist. It's just for a doctor's visit, and I just think that's a lot.

Dr Arangos nurse [...][...] is one of the best pediatric nurses I've ever had the pleasure to know and have care for my son. She goes above and beyond to make sure that my son gets the after care he deserves. She is the absolute best and I can't commend her enough.
Waiting time is way too much. Not just outside, there's just the inside, the clinic room. You wait it so long. I don't think that's something that's really annoying and bothering for patients, especially when you have children. Thank you for watching.

Well, my experience with Dr. Monica Arango has been excellent.
Dr. Arango is very detail oriented. Spends her time explaining the growth charts. Reviewed vaccinations. Great bedside manner.
