Dr. Miguel Escobar is a Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Dr. Escobar’s research interests include hemophilia and inhibitors, general hemostasis, thrombophilia and venous thromboembolism.
Dr. Escobar has received numerous excellence teaching awards and has contributed extensively to the literature clinically and scientifically in numerous subjects concerning bleeding and clotting disorders.
Dr. Escobar is also the Director of the outpatient and inpatient anticoagulation services and Co-Director of the Clinical Research Unit at his Institution. In a research career spanning 20 years, he has participated in numerous multi-center clinical studies nationally and internationally, and he partners extensively with academia and industry in running collaborative studies and as a clinical investigator.

Need to know when to starts medication that Dr Escobar prescribed
Everyone in the office is friendly and polite. Dr. Escobar is extremely knowledgeable and carrying with his patients.
Very thorough exam. Excellent bedside manner. Dr Escobar and his NP listened very carefully and did not rush the appointment at all.
Dr. Escobar is an excellent physician. I trust him with my life. He has saved it since [...] when he diagnosed me with Von Willebrand's disease. I would recommend him to anyone, encourage anyone to be with him. I wish my [...] hematologist would be more in touch with him because I don't think he knows a lot about Von Willebrand's disease and he's left me in a bad situation with low hemoglobin and low iron. So I trust Dr. Escobar tremendously and bless him.
