Michael Greaser, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive and arthroscopic treatments of foot and ankle disorders. He serves as team physician for the University of Houston, Houston Baptist University, and University of St. Thomas. He also is a consultant for the Houston Dynamo soccer club.
During his fellowship training for foot and ankle surgery, he had the opportunity to treat a large number of elite athletes from a variety of sports and organizations, including professional football and basketball, the USA Track and Field Olympic team, and ballet.
He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

This doctor is very good
Your billing has refused to verify my secondary insurance and try to make me copay for visits which l do not owe. This is the forth time and billing returns call to tell you to call back. On January 3 they refuses to verify my insurance in billing as too busy. That person needs to be found and corrective action taken. They are practicing financial abuse!

It was my first visit. My Appt time 10:40. I Arrived 10:05. I thought I "Checked-in" at kiosk. Said 16 min wait. So I sat down. I know it might be longer since I was so early. At 10:50 I went to front desk to make sure I was checked-in. I wasn't. The lady behind the desk said "You are just marked present. I need to check you in here" THEN I gave her drivers license and insurance. I Filled out Dr specific form. (I had done 4 forms online and 2 forms on the kiosk when I got here). I'm not sure what would've happened if I hadn't asked. If I was marked present but not checked it, it would've been nice to have the office say something. A little frustrating to find out the check-in kiosks don't actually check you in!

I am a frequent patient with Dr. Greaser and he was doing the follow-up. It was a very busy day and everyone let me know that it was a very busy day and was considerate and keeping me updated and checking in on me. When I saw the physician he was very concerned and shared with me his opinions and recommendations. I felt like I was being well taken care of. I would easily recommend Dr. Greaser to anyone who needed ankle and foot surgery period. He is a very caring and good physician.
