Maura K. Leo, NP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College and commission in the Army Nurse Corps in 2008. She served on active duty until 2016 and then worked as a nurse at Memorial Hermann, while completing the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
After earning her Master of Science in Nursing and FNP certification in 2019, she joined UT Physicians Bone Health Clinic later that year.
Leo is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, National Osteoporosis Foundation, and Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society for Nursing.
She has a special interest in exercise, nutrition, and creating a holistic plan of care for every patient. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and skiing.
