Dr Mays is totally professional and went to great ends to explain my injury and his recommended course for treatment. On time and very efficient too !!

I waited for the provider for 50 minutes and I only received an update on how much longer it was going to be after leaving the room to find someone and ask. Once the doctor finally came into the room he spent a total of 5 minutes with me and eveything felt rushed and he made assumptions about my activity level and fitness without asking me directly. After making me wait that long he could have at least given me 15 minutes of his time and not a rushed 5 minute consult. I also received a brace with little instruction and then once I got home I was emailed a bill/signed document saying I agreed to the charges for the brace when I never had anyone go over charges with me nor did I ever see or sign that document for the brace. I tried to call the office to get clarification as to how I'm receiving a signed document and agreeing to charges on a document that I haven't seen but no one answered the phone. I do not want to ever return to this clinic or see this provider again. Everything felt like a money scheme and nothing felt genuine or like they truly wanted to help me recover.

Dr. Mays was very thorough about what was going on and treatment options. With it also being a second opinion I would say he also did a very thorough evaluation. Highly recommend.
This is how an all clinical visits should be, it is a model of efficiency. I was seeing a nurse within five minutes of arrival. Saw a PA within five minutes of finishing with the nurse. Was taken for x-rays shortly after seeing the PA. Came back to the room and talked with both Doctor Mays and the PA shortly after finishing X-ray. He explained the issue and discussed treatment options clearly. I decided on cortisone infection and that was done immediately. Really was an impressive synchronized process. All clinic visits should do as well as your folks
The visit itself went fine, however, I'm still yet to get my MRI scheduled based on having a specific device in my esophagus that's requiring a certain tesla, but I'm not getting a response back from Memorial Hermann with regards to that test or the two MRIs that the doctor would like me to get. So I'm perplexed and I'm going to continue to try to work on that next week, but if you guys can help out with that, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
