I was in pain , I have sickle cell anemia ss but they will not give pain medicine and I am tired of being treated like a drug addict. I have a chronic illness. Please do better
I love Maida. She's very attentive. She listens. She gives good feedback. And she's always there and helps look out for her patients.
I love her! She's one of the best providers Ive had in along time!
The staff is always nice and professional and very patient and listens to every concern I have.
Very nice, very personable, very attentive, and I like her.
The NP did not rush me and made sure to answer any questions I had.
Everything went ok the doctor was awesome
Although I wasn't feeling well, and I was an hour late, the effort it took for me to drive over 30 miles in pain was great. I should have just canceled the visit like I had placed instead of being talked in to keep it and getting an infusion, cause that didn't happen either. The ss center has changed greatly and is not "available " as it used to be, there was a uniqueness and compasion that was always present, this appointment made me feel as though my effort was wasted. And looked at like the world sees SS patients unbelieved and pain seekers. This is NOT how I want feel.
I'm disappointed in that she took too long to come on and I had to start driving to work. As a result, she refused to conduct the visit and made no effort to ask me if I could park. Additionally, I only wanted potassium chloride that has been previously prescribed I advised that I am informed regarding my health and I have a complete understanding of the underlying issues of my symptoms (leg cramps) caused by Hydrochlorothiazide and a recent addition of [...]. I did not feel heard by the staff after a request for a refill of potassium chloride resulted in a scheduled telehealth visit that the provider abruptly ended without giving me options to engage after it took her 20 minutes to appear on the screen. Now I will ask my Primary Care Physician to prescribe it. This was my first time seeing this provider. She lacked empathy and appeared not to care about what the result may be if I go without the potassium chloride. Instead, she focused on a rule that has a low probability of resulting in an accident with no other options in mind as opposed to having a desire to provide treatment. Prior to today my experiences with the Sickle Cell center has been great. Thank you
Wonderful staff, with wonderful smiles and cheerfulness to last the whole week. Everyone needs a raise; Pronto!
The nurse staff and the doctors always do a great job when it comes to me so I mostly believe that they do the same with other patients
[Maida] was real cool, real helpful, attentive, and a real people person.
