I was seriously impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of this office. I felt welcomed and as if they were just as eager as I to get me treated.

Although I only met with Madalyne Smith once, it was a profound experience. If she had been my initial provider when I first became a patient of UT Physicians in Spring 2023-at a time when I was actively seeking support and guidance-I genuinely believe I wouldn't still be carrying the anxiety and trauma that I am today. She didn't see me as a case file or a number-she saw me as a person. She listened. She cared. And she made me feel like my healing actually mattered. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case with others I encountered. Dr. Mofit rarely looked at me or listened, and Dr. Goldstein didn't even know my name-let alone that Dr. Goldstein forgotten to complete my ADA accommodations. Which ultimately led to losing my job. Then when I gave permission to send my medical records from therapy to a lawyer; the office refused. These are my records and it's my right if I want a lawyer to see the trauma I experienced that UT physicians documented; especially when they confirmed I had plantar fasciitis from being over worked. It felt like, instead of helping me break the cycle of trauma, I was just being pushed further into it. To be specific, I told Dr. Mofit as early as August, and again more clearly in November, that the medication they prescribed was giving me negative thoughts. There was no follow-up. At my next appointment, that concern wasn't even acknowledged. Instead, I was reminded that "no therapist would accept my insurance"-which clearly wasn't true, since Madalyne helped me secure an appointment with a UT Physicians therapist who does accept my coverage. All of this has left me feeling like I was being passed around in a broken system-one that lacks compassion and accountability. [...]

Madalynn Smith has been a wonderful person to talk you. She is a good listener and at the last visit had many helpful ideas to share with me. I have been dealing with grief issues and a 55 year old son with mental health problems. Thank goodness I found Madalynn.

Well, I definitely liked my visit and the, she was well into, how do I say it, she listened to me very well. She understood and loved my feedback. So I would like to visit again, again, yes, I'm there here because she knows what I've been through and what I've explained to her. And she knows. I want to see her again. I love her feedback. Yes, I'd like to visit again. Thank you.
