Lindsay M. Crawford, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics. She treats musculoskeletal issues and injuries in children and young adults, with an emphasis on spinal deformity and scoliosis.
Crawford is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she has received multiple honors, including Dean’s Teaching Excellence Awards for her role in teaching and training medical students and residents.
Crawford completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Following an orthopedic surgery residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, she completed a fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at Orlando Health/Palmer Hospital in Florida.
She’s a member of several professional organizations, including the Scoliosis Research Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.

Very efficient work flow! Extremely well ran clinic. Dr was very knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions. Everyone treated us with courtesy and respect. Never felt rushed or hurried when asking questions.
Everything was great except the person removing my son's soft cast cut my son's skin with the bandage scissors and caused him to bleed. My son was happy and excited till then. He was then very sad and was in a lot more pain after that. He was crying and asking "why did he have to cut me". It caused him to be very upset which I believe made him feel more pain and fear since he was not hurting before his hand was cut. If bandage scissors were used correctly he should not have gotten cut. I just recommend a reminder that kids don't handle pain as well and to be extra careful around kids. The PA and the doctor were so very kind and tried to help distract my son till he could calm down. Overall a good experience it's just very hard to see a small child get a cut on his hand from scissors what's are supposed to be safe near the skin.
Yeah, we really appreciate the doctor's help and the kindness from the facility folks, including the reception people, and we'll definitely visit again when we need the service. Thank you so much.

It bother me that x-ray male tech didn't want my son to get xray. Seemed weird as that was the reason of my follow up. My son was not his patient, he was just prying. If i'm paying for it, why does he care? My son was also worried as xray tech kept saying how big his osteochondroma was to him and me. I feel like that was unnecessary.

I couldn't be more grateful for Dr Crawford and her wonderful staff. It's so tough when your child is injured, but they did everything possible to make the process as smooth as possible. Dr Crawford was so kind and entertained all of my child's questions. The xray tech and gentleman who applied the boot were wonderful with her. We are so incredibly grateful!
