Lily Koscielniak is a physician assistant caring for orthopedic surgery patients of all ages with diverse spine conditions, including fractures, degeneration, myelopathy, disc herniations, and scoliosis. She works alongside Cody Tillinghast, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon.
Koscielniak is a native Arizonian with Polish roots. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Arizona State University. During this time, she served in multiple leadership roles at a local nonprofit clinic and student organizations. She went on to complete her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at Baylor College of Medicine.
Koscielniak is a member of the Texas Chapter of Orthopedic Physician Assistants and the Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring Houston’s restaurant scene. She is fluent in both English and Polish.
All patient experience ratings and comments are submitted by actual patients and are received and validated by a leading independent survey company, NRC Health.
The did not communicate a wait time at check in but the wait was less than 10 minutes so no complaints on that at all. Lily did not know my medical history due to it being my first visit. I put everything down and she made sure she covered it all. Very professional and polite during the entire visit.
Lily (and the nurse working with her that day) were both excellent at listening, processing, and delivering some initial concerns I had resulting from my last visit when I saw the doc. Lily was able to communicate to me logical answers to my concerns and I felt that she was considering all my options and cared about giving me good info. I came away with a good path laid out for me.

Some of your questions didn't seem relevant to me as I was a first-time patient & there was no wait time. Everyone was terrific. I'm disappointed in my Humana secondary insurance as it may limit my further options with your staff. ??

Dont ask at check in for background forms to be filled out again if you already have an online profile. Check in could be more friendly instead of robotic and being bothered. Checout lady tried to make me pay my copay a second time! I paid in online app at pre check in
The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and I felt very comfortable in their presence, and I felt very comfortable in their advice, and I would go see them again.
