Kourosh Keyhani, DO, FACS, is a board certified vascular and general surgeon. He has several years of experience in the treatment of vascular disease through open and endovascular techniques. He serves as assistant professor for vascular surgery with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He is a vascular surgeon at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, where he also holds leadership positions with various committees overseeing the operations of the hospitals.
Dr. Keyhani completed his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, followed by a residency training in general surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (now known as McGovern Medical School at UTHealth). He then stayed in Houston at UTHealth for his vascular surgery fellowship training with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, through the leadership of the founding chair and professor, Dr. Hazim Safi.
He is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, Texas Medical Association, and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons.

Hello, I took my father to see Dr. Keyhani on his last appointment. Dr. Keyhani had an emergency surgery, but we were most pleased, and I believe it's the second time we've seen her, to see, I think she's a physician's assistant, or maybe she's a nurse practitioner, I'm not real sure, but her name is Rosa, and she was really, really good with my father, and very attentive, and very, just very good with my father, and we appreciate her care. Thank you so much.
When I checked in they said appointments were running about 45 minutes past my appointment time. When I got back to the room I spent another 20 minutes waiting. The only thing that made it worth the wait was Dr. Keyhani. He was so thorough in his explanation of my issue and I understood completely what the plan was going forward.

Yes, I always trust Dr. Keyhani. I wasn't expecting to see him. I was expecting to see his nurse practitioner, but he came in and checked with me because it was a follow-up and I hadn't been in for a while. And so I was very impressed that he took the time to do that. So, I do trust him and his staff. Okay. Thank you.

Too long in the waiting room, especially in the doctor consultation room after I spoke with the medical assistant, Nicoletta.
I had an appointment with Dr. Keyhani, but I did not see him; I saw his nurse practitioner. Nicolette is professional and nice. But, I am not sure she knew my history with Dr. Keyhani, my catheters and dialysis. Also, my insurance is billed for a specialist. Is a nurse practitioner considered a specialist?

I was sent for test on my legs he didn't do any test just looked at test I had taken months ago I was sent there because of pain in my legs he did nothing I feel like I made a blank trip and he gonna charge my Inc company for doing nothing are testing to see what's causing this problem I really want to make a complaint against this doctor
