Kourosh Keyhani, DO, FACS, is a board certified vascular and general surgeon. He has several years of experience in the treatment of vascular disease through open and endovascular techniques. He serves as assistant professor for vascular surgery with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He is a vascular surgeon at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, where he also holds leadership positions with various committees overseeing the operations of the hospitals.
Dr. Keyhani completed his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, followed by a residency training in general surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (now known as McGovern Medical School at UTHealth). He then stayed in Houston at UTHealth for his vascular surgery fellowship training with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, through the leadership of the founding chair and professor, Dr. Hazim Safi.
He is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, Texas Medical Association, and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons.

Extremely livid about one RN in the procedure room ,disgusting behavior by a male!! Surgeon mistakenly chose a vein too deep that cannot be utilized for my dialysis and my gfr is 13 , I pity anyone who enters this facility for services, my outcome is devastating, now they want to operate AGAIN !!!'
When I saw the actual physician, Dr. Keyhani, I felt like it was one of the greatest experiences with a doctor I've ever had. When I saw his PA or, yeah, the first time it wasn't very pleasant. The second time was a whole lot better because the first time I didn't feel like she would listen to me at all and just talked over me. Anyways, Dr. Keyhani is very, very good. I just wish that I actually had a chance to speak with him, even if it was briefly, when I went to the office. Thank you.

When I arrived, everyone was friendly, gave me the time, weight, approximately and everything. And then when I got to see the doctor and his assistants, they treated me cordially, told me, asked questions, and they both talked to me and gave me information that I needed. And I appreciate everything that they did. They were very courteous.

I was told to be 20 min. early- but had to wait 1hr after appt.time. with no explination.

I was late to my appointment because of metrolift transportation . I was informed I would have a wait time and I did but they got me in only had a short wait. Good customer service.
Everyone was so kind and very helpful. I had a very painful time putting my right shoe ba c k on were a Brace is inside it. I can not lift my toes up on that foot. My big toe kept folding under causing a lot of pain. The nurse assistant had gloves on so after trying at least 5 times to help get my shoe on. I ask her to reach inside my shoe and pull my big toe straight. She did it . My foot slide in without pain. She help tie my shoe up. I was able to finally go. She was so kind a patient.
I have anxiety attacks it was very comfortable
I was extremely frustrated with the long wait times!!! It was bad enough in the waiting room ,but it was unacceptable to wait in the exam room for such a long time!!!
Hello, I took my father to see Dr. Keyhani on his last appointment. Dr. Keyhani had an emergency surgery, but we were most pleased, and I believe it's the second time we've seen her, to see, I think she's a physician's assistant, or maybe she's a nurse practitioner, I'm not real sure, but her name is Rosa, and she was really, really good with my father, and very attentive, and very, just very good with my father, and we appreciate her care. Thank you so much.
When I checked in they said appointments were running about 45 minutes past my appointment time. When I got back to the room I spent another 20 minutes waiting. The only thing that made it worth the wait was Dr. Keyhani. He was so thorough in his explanation of my issue and I understood completely what the plan was going forward.
