In 2001, Dr. Hematpour graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tehran’s School of Medicine in Iran. He went on to complete his residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2008. He finished his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011 and his Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at Boston University’s Boston Medical Center in 2012. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a staff Cardiac Electrophysiologist at UT Physicians – EP Heart.

The practitioner, not Cash, but Chris, did not order the correct medication and did not seem to be really engaged in talking with us. And that's who we see the next time. Dr. Cash was amazing, but he's handing us over to Chris for the next appointment and not 100% comfortable with that.

Office was clean. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Dr was also. Unsure if I spoke with manager, but will check yea because I might have and don't remember titles.
I received 6 to 8 texts reminding me to come 20 to 25 minutes early for my appointment. Then I had to wait 45 minutes or so after my appointment to see my doctor. If you have long wait times why tell us to come early? I did, for no reason at all.
I love Herman Memorial and UT Health Cypress and all care and Doctors that work there.

I have been seeing Dr. Hematpour for many years now, he is easy to discuss matters with and all his Staff are extremely helpful !!
The entire staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. Dr Hematpour puts you at ease immediately and makes you feel as though you are the only patient he has to see. He knows about your medical history when he enters the exam room and listens closely to what you are telling him about your issue. No rush to leave and answers all your questions. I feel very confident recommending him to friends or family because I'm sure he will take good care with them as he did with me.

Carolyn and Michelle helped me tremendously with questions and medicine information from the time I became a patient.
I really appreciate the care I normally recieve, but this visit left me waiting for about 1 1/2 hrs in room, only to have a nurse practitioner perform my examination. My appointment was with Dr Hematpour, who I never saw.
I'm satisfied with my visit at UT Health Houston. From the receptionist to Tracie and Dr Khashayar Hematpour I can recommend the clinic itself because of their knowledge in doing their assigned job. It was good I was referred by Dr Paul Alberto & my cardiologist Dr Dipsu Patel to see Dr Hematpour .I have peace of mind on the procedure for my SVT Ablation on Feb 6th. Best regards to all.
