Dr. Kevin Finkel is a board certified Physician and Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He is the Division Director and Vice-Chair of Renal Diseases and Hypertension.
Dr. Finkel’s clinical and research interests are focused on critical care nephrology, extracorporeal therapies for sepsis, and renal diseases in cancer patients.
Dr. Finkel is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and has been elected as a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American College of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Finkel was excellent as usual. Discuss my situation with me, asked me how am I feeling. Explained why I need Lab work. He is an excellent doctor
My appointment was at 1:15, arrive time requested was 1:00, which I did. I did not get called back until 2:15! It is a 45 minute drive to this office then over an hour wait to be called back, another 30 minutes before seeing the doctor! My time is just as valuable to me. If this specialist wasn't necessary, I would not have gone there.
