Kenneth B. Mathis, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint reconstruction.
He’s also an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Mathis received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1985. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Louisiana State University Health – Shreveport in 1990. He completed fellowship training in joint reconstruction at Baylor College of Medicine in 1991.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Texas Orthopedic Association, and the Houston Orthopedic Society.
