Kelly Blevins, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He specializes in total joint reconstruction with an emphasis on minimally invasive arthroplasty of the knee and hip.
He’s an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He’s also the co-director of the Total Joint Reconstruction Program at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.
Blevins is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the Texas Orthopedic Association.

Everyone was so nice. The lobby so nice and clean.
I was very satisfied with the whole experience. The x-ray tech was skillful ,sweet and patient focused. Dr. Blevins' air of confidence and his level of knowledge and experience which was obvious when he talked to me, made me feel good about this visit.
The check in desk asked for insurance. I gave him my cards. However, upon checking out the desk person did not record my secondary insurance. I don't understand this as I gave him both cards. The clerk checking me out just happened to mention that I didn't have a secondary and that's how I found out it had not been entered into the system.
Staff and Dr Blevins were communicative and thorough. Though the issue is not orthopedic he gave me good advice on how to approach my situation and I really appreciated that

Dr Blevins' medical assistant Mike was curt and somewhat impatient as he talked with me.
Fix the coffee maker.
He was very brief. Saw no issue in the bones of my ankle or foot. Gave me no further suggestions as to what was might be causing the pain ion my right leg and foot. Advice: Take a different pain killer. Very unsatisfactory visit.
Thought it would be awhile but was in and out on time with great service from cray the Dr staff and nurse.

All the staff is punctual, efficient, and friendly; the office seemed to run like a finely tuned machine. I have known Dr. Blevins for over 20 years. He is an excellent surgeon with wonderful bedside manner given today's hustle and bustle medical world. I know lots of orthopedic surgeons and if I need a knee replacement or arthroscopy he is my first choice. Thank you Dr. Blevins!

I am a new patient and I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and filled out the one piece of paper they gave me since I checked in online. My appointment was 8:45am but I didn't get taken back till 9:15 AM, I just sat in the waiting room. And they did not communicate it. Once I was in there, everything went smoothly.

The experience I had with Dr.Blevins and staff was refreshing. Everyone was very attentive and exhibited a level of professionalism that you rarely experience in some cases. I witnessed anyone who walked through the door receiving care that best fit their needs. I've dealing with pain in both of my knees for 12 years that I can recall . I'm pretty sure it's been longer. When I finished with my appointment I left with a mirror of hope and restoration. Most most of all Dr. Blevins made sure he did his best to try to provide some level of comfort from pain . I'm not expecting a miracle because God can only provide that . What I came for I received which was a solution to an extended period of discomfort .
I have been very happy with the care from Dr Blevins. He listens and gives good advice based on my history and needs. I highly recommend him.

Excellent service..... you can tell that the doctor is very genuine.
I have been shocked by this provider, and other providers in Texas, charting they performed assessments they never performed. No one has ever checked for Homan's sign, popliteal or pedal pulses, capillary refill, and so many other things they charted as having been done. As a nurse, I don't understand how this practice is acceptable at major respected hospitals like this one, MD Anderson, and others.
Seemed to genuinely care about my dear 93 year old mom. (This review is by her daughter who took her to the appointment.)
