Kamal F. Busaidy, DDS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon treating patients of all ages. He believes in excellent care through personal attention, technical expertise, and compassion. His philosophy is simple — every patient deserves the best we have to offer.
Busaidy is a professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and co-director of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Texas Cleft Lip and Palate team. He’s a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He is an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, past president of the Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and past president of the Arab American Medical Association – Houston chapter. He has taught surgical trainees at UTHealth Houston.
Outside of work, Busaidy enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in the community, watching movies, and traveling internationally.

Dr. Busaidy has great bedside manner. My child walked in crying and nervous about her procedure and Dr. Busaidy got down to her level to talk to her and figure out what was making her nervous. He explained the procedure in words that she could understand at 10 years old and helped to calm her down. He took his time during her procedure and made it known to her that he was in no rush. My daughter received breaks when she needed them and because of his patience and bedside manner, they were able to get through the whole procedure in one sitting!

It was a pleasant experience. The receptionist, resident doctor, Doctor's nurses, and of course Dr. Busaidy were all very friendly, patient and answered all my questions.
Dr. Busaidy was excellent as was his staff from the smiling front desk person who was very helpful, and got us in early and on time, to the explanations by the staff to the procedure and explanations by Dr. Busaidy. It was an excellent experience, as excellent as visiting a doctor can be.
