Julie Eapen, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. Her work is focused on serving children with medically complex disease processes at UT Physicians’ High Risk Children’s Clinic.
Dr. Eapen sees pediatric patients from birth and understands the vital role the clinic plays in a child’s health maintenance. As a physician in a medical home for children with a wide variety of challenges, Dr. Eapen communicates with specialists involved in her patient’s care to ensure an approach that address each child’s overall health.
While she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Eapen enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and twin sons.

Dr. Julie Eapen is a wonderful PCP and I found out I love Dr Julie Eapen, she is very caring, very patient. She takes her time when explaining anything that's wrong with me whether it's a common cold or whether it's just reading her lab reports, or just hearing, you know, during the autism parent and I greatly appreciate her always being there for us, whether it's through the UT portal or whether it's through a phone call or Tel A Medicine or just in person as well. She goes above and beyond for all of her patients, and we're so thankful and blessed to have Dr. Eapen in our lives and and to all the staff at the High Risk Pediatricians.
