I am grateful for the doctor's expertise and familiarity in treating hypothyroidism. It was comforting to learn that medication is not yet necessary to address my thyroid concerns. However, I anticipated receiving more proactive guidance on potential lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, or other interventions that could help slow down or mitigate the progression of my Hashimoto's, rather than waiting until my thyroid function declines significantly before initiating treatment. This was very disappointing and left me with feelings of helplessness.
