Dr. Jennifer Shroff is a Staff Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Dr. Shroff is highly interested in Inflammatory Bowel Disorders, and she will be partaking in clinical research trials to study new medications to treat this challenging disease. In addition, she is currently an active member in multiple national gastroenterological societies, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Dr. Shroff studies my prior medical history before an appointment with her and connects the dots between my current problem and the other health issues/medications I have. She is so kind and knowledgeable. She lets me ask all the questions I want and answers everything. I answered "mostly" about my medications she prescribed because of my own confusion. She explained and wrote down all my instructions about how and when to take the medications. I love this young lady. She is up to date on latest findings regarding her specialty and doesn't ever act as if I am taking her time away from other patients or other things she may need to do. I would certainly refer friends and family to her.
Everyone was super friendly and the doctor was really good. She cared, she listened, and she clearly explained and tried to help us the best she could.
I thought that the staff, the entire staff was very professional. They did tell me the waiting time. The doctor was very thorough. She took her time. She answered all my questions. She spent quite an amount of time with me to make sure I understood everything. She gave me some ideas and some suggestions on how I can better my health. And I will be referring family members and friends to her. She's very thorough, very nice, very easy to understand. And she has a way of explaining to the patients where the patients can understand. And I just want to thank her for that.

Oneisha checked me in at 12:15, I had a balance. I was unable to pay the full amount. She asked how much I could pay, I told her and she said she would have to call her manager up to speak with me and to have a seat. I waited 30 minutes and then got back in line to speak with Oneisha because nothing had happened. I asked her how much longer her manager would be. She said that she had already spoke with her and the amount I was able to pay was fine. I paid and sat back down. This was at 12:45pm. At 1:15 I got up to ask Oneisha how much longer it would be. She said it would be shortly. I was not called to see Dr. Shroff until 1:38. I spent almost an hour and half between my check in time and when I finally got to see my doctor. Dr Shroff and her staff were appalled at how I was treated and ensured that Oneisha would be facing disciplinary actions. I hope this is followed through on. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's. The only reason I am even willing to continue to be a patient UTHealth is because of Dr Shroff. If I had an opportunity to see through a different system I would jump at the chance.

Dr. Shroff was very knowledgeable and very warm and was a wonderful experience. I'm looking forward for the first time and I'm 85 years old. The first time in my life I'm looking forward to having a colonoscopy. She seems to be a very competent doctor and I'm so happy that we found her. Okay, what do I press now to end?

Dr Shroff and her staff are always amazing. Zero wait time. Meeting with Dr Shroff she is always up to date with my condition and somehow remembers my pass complications. She understands my frustration with my PBM and insurance company and helps me navigate that mess! I have no problem driving three hours to meet with her it's totally worth it.
