About

Jenine Zaibaq-Krill, MD, is a gastroenterologist who sees adult patients for a wide range of digestive system disorders and conditions. While her clinical interests are in general gastroenterology and endoscopy, her true passion is in the field of liver transplantation.

Being able to provide patients with end-stage liver disease a second chance at life is especially fulfilling to her. Dr. Zaibaq-Krill is triple board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology.

A native Houstonian, Dr. Zaibaq-Krill earned her bachelor of science in biology at the University of St. Thomas and received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2015. She then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then returned to the great state of Texas to complete her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at The University of Texas Medical Branch. Furthermore, she went on to pursue an additional fellowship in transplant hepatology at Yale University.

She is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. She has presented research at several meetings including the American College of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting, Digestive Disease Week, and has published original research in prestigious medical journals.

Dr. Zaibaq-Krill is thrilled to be settled back in Houston enjoying her hometown with her husband, young son, and daughter on the way.
