Jeffrey L. Young, PA-C, started working as a technician in the orthopedic surgery operating room in 1985. Four years later, he became a registered nurse and continued his career in orthopedic surgery. In 1999, he graduated from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as a physician assistant and specializes in joint replacements. Young retired from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2023 as a lieutenant colonel. During his time in the military, he was mobilized five times as a physician assistant working in primary care, deployment medicine, and orthopedics. Since 2016, he has been working alongside and assisting Steven Schroder, MD, in both the operating room and clinic.

Oh, yes, I had a great time. Everybody treated me well. I was in and out. Everybody was professional. Laughter. It was great. it was actually good for me this time. My experience was awesome. The aspiration procedure went very well. I did notice some relief in pain after the procedure. Kudos to Jeffrey.
Jeff is always so nice, kind, friendly, caring and professional to me all the time and every time I go see him. He always explain what he's doing, the medication he's given me and what to do to prevent further injuries. Everybody was GREAT
Jeff inspired us with his confident manner. He was very friendly and cheerful. I was especially impressed with the way he directly addressed my 86 year old mother (who is the patient) rather than me! Would not hesitate to consult him again!!
They just need to make it easier to call in and talk to someone, not wait for hours for them to call you back at the end of the day. I should be able to actually talk to someone when you call not an automated system.
All the staff was wonderful, I trust them all so I believe a great job was done. Dr. Schroeder, Jeffrey his PA and Nancy the nurse they were all outstanding and care about my healing.
