About

Jane Hamilton, PhD, MPH, LCSW, is a fellowship-trained social worker providing care for patients of all ages. She believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach to treatment guided by the patient’s needs.

She’s also an associate professor in the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Hamilton received her Master of Social Work at the University of Houston in 1999. She earned her Master of Public Health in 2007 at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. She received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the School of Public Health in 2013. She completed fellowship training in maternal child health at The University of Texas School of Public Health in 2013. She completed her postdoctoral research fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2015. She was also honored with a Doctoral Dissertation Award in children’s mental health.

Outside of work, Hamilton enjoys traveling, gardening, and bicycling with her husband and three children.
