Everyone was very kind. I was stuck in the flood and called the office. They assured me that I could have my visit whenever I arrived and wanted me to be safe!

Perfect

He was very informative, very nice, very pleasant, very professional. The only thing I didn't like was his, the first time was his nurse practitioner. That's all I can say is that he was very professional, very cool, and explained everything really well and informative. But his nurse practitioner leaves something to be desired. But anyway, that's all I'm going to say about that. Thank you. Okay, glad I didn't have to deal with her the second time around. I'd rather deal with him directly than be, you know, subjected to her ever again. Okay, thank you. Bye. That's all. Bye.

Long wait time (over 1.5 hours before seeing the provider), but everything else was great.

Yes, he was very knowledgeable, he explained things to where I understood them, he was professional and friendly, easy to talk to. It was an enjoyable experience with the doctor that I've had in a while.

First time patient for Dr Showery. I was very impressed with him, and especially his Nurse Practitioner, Ada. I was given a thorough history review, exam, and explanation of x-ray results. Was given a sensible follow up plan as well. The office worked well, too: quick check in, short wait, fast and efficient x-ray, quick check out.

Hi, I just wanted to say that Dr. Showery is awesome, and he's attentive, he listens, and I appreciate that he's, he, his first course of action is not surgery, that he actually, like, is more conservative in his treatment. I appreciate that. It means a lot to me and my family. My dad actually sees Dr. Showery as well. So anyway, that's it. Thanks.

Both Dr Showery and Katie were outstanding.

Feb 25, 2025

Dr. Showery was very thorough with me and explained exactly what he thought was going on with my back and hip problems. He referred me for an MRi, gave me a prescription to help my pain, and gave me hope about my issues.

I was treated very well by everyone. They gave me the option to always speak in Spanish and to answer me in Spanish because I don't speak English and I was satisfied with everyone's care.

Feb 11, 2025

Dr Showery did an excellent job establishing himself as a knowledgeable expert in his field. Communication skills spot on.

Feb 7, 2025

Dr. Showery seems to be a great, knowledgeable physician. I was very pleased with his visit. BUT there definitely seems to be a problem with communication, getting questions answered from his Medical Assistant, not to mention names, but I have to, Katie Mejia, MA. (See the couple of questions sent to Katie and the response times?) This situation really makes me hope that Dr. Showery's communication is not this bad but it's just his staff's communication skills that need to be addressed. Maybe he is understaffed (?) I just don't know. But I have to say that it's a concern about Dr Showery's ability. You're only as good as the people that work for you. And I hope I'm wrong. I've been a UT Physician's patient for years (about 15) with a lot of different doctors there and this is the first time communication has ever been a concern or problem. Thank you.

Feb 7, 2025

I with me with kindness and understanding as I had actually come in a day early due to an error on my calendar They were so kind and were able to work my appointment into their schedule. I cannot thank them enough. It's a breath of fresh air to be treated like family!

Feb 7, 2025

I appreciate you all help thank you very much

Feb 4, 2025

Well, I called and wanted Dr. Showery to call me because I had some questions about the MRI he wanted me to get. I don't think I could lay on the table because of my back hurting and my leg hurting, and I've already had two MRIs within six months of having this MRI, so I just really don't know why I need to have it. Anyway, he hasn't called me. Thank you.

I was totally satisfied with Dr. Showery and Nurse Antonia, I can't remember her last name. Both of them were very professional and compassionate. They are also very knowledgeable.
