Dr. Jacqueline Meeks joined the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) as an Assistant Professor in September 2009. Dr. Meeks is Board Certified for the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Texas Medical Association.

I am very pleased with Dr. Meeks. The person I'm not pleased with is her staff. I forgot her name. I know it has a V in it. I don't know if she comes from the office. There was a lady this week, she's a regular staff at the place, but there's another lady, I think she's a nurse. She's not a regular. She's the one that I'm not happy with. Thank you.
I waited over an hour to see my provider. After arriving 15 minutes early to my appointment, I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes after the start of my appointment before a nurse brought me back. After that I sat in a patient room for almost an hour before being seen by the doctor. During that time I was checked on once. In preparation for anticipated blood work, I fasted for this appointment and the lab was subsequently closed by the time my appointment ended. I didn't leave the office until 2 hours after the scheduled start of my appointment and got an insincere apology from the doctor without a reason for the delay.

My experiences are always divine when I visit Dr Jacqueline Meeks. She's professional and she covers every base with me concerning my health. On occasions it's been a fight to keep Dr Meeks as my primary care physician, and every fight I've had to endure, has been worth it.
