Hiral P. Patel, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and fellowship-trained in chronic pain management. Her areas of expertise include the management of cancer and noncancer pain. When possible, she does in-office epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, which can help patients feel better faster without going to a hospital or surgery center.
A native Houstonian, Patel received her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. She completed residency training in anesthesiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She followed this with a fellowship in chronic pain management at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Patel has been recognized with numerous academic and research awards and is an active community volunteer. She’s fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Her MA has great bedside manner. The young lady that helped us walking out has great bedside manner. I just love it. They are just great. I really, really loved it and my husband loved it. If we could get everybody to act just like Dr. Patel's clinic did, we would be in a much better space. That office were, everybody in that office were great, immaculate. Dr. Patel and staff are wonderful medical providers. I just love Dr. Patel, she is kind and explains everything so thoroughly. I would highly recommend her and staff to my family and friends. This was my last appointment in my healing journey for my back and knee. I will truly miss coming in for my visits, but will return if the pain returns. Dr. Patel is always ready to talk to me about what I need, talk to me about the options I have for treatment and is very knowledgeable about what's going on with me. She knows my background, my medical background, and so I feel very confident with her treatment And I have recommended her to other people.
My Doctor is amazing. She listens, answer question, and smiles. When she gives me my shots she is very nice, lets you know exactly what she is going to do next. My pain is more under controlled now. Which I am very thankful. I am very blessed to have her. Thank you.

I've been going g to Dr Hiral Patel for over 4 years and every visit including the office staff has been a wonderful experience. I love the fact they offer coffee and a TV in the waiting room also. Their waiting area is the nicest of any of my doctors.
