Heather Sandifer received her undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University. In 2005, she went on to complete her master’s degree in bioscience and physician assistant studies from the Medical College of Ohio, which has since merged with the University of Toledo. She spent time working with the pediatric surgery and trauma team at Toledo Children’s Hospital, Clear Lake Regional Hospital, and also has experience working in urgent care. In 2020, Sandifer joined the orthopedic trauma team at UT Physicians. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and also licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
Sandifer maintains active memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
When not seeing patients, she spends time serving the community with friends, and enjoys the outdoors, good food, spending time with her family, and listening to music.

First postoperative visit. Plaster cast was taken off and stitches were removed. I wished that and expected that my arm would have been cleaned of dried blood etc. before being Steri-Strip, re-wrapped and braced.
My visit was enhanced by the Professional Staff.
I think that all the employees there at Hermann should be more considerate of the patient, more talking to the patient, telling them what's going on instead of leaving them in the hallway without answering them and walking by like they are not for you or you are not for them. They need to take the time out and respond to every patient that's in that hallway because there is a need. And they are not responding to it. They are just going by with the charts every four hours. No. Talk to your patient and find out what is going on and what they are dealing with.

Yes, you have to fast before these surgeries. Stands to reason that when you wake up in the morning, you got to sit there for 30, 45 minutes or whatever hour until you actually get released. You would have a plate of food like for the lunch or the breakfast, whatever before you go into surgery, hey, what do you want to eat because we're hungry already. So yeah, feed us right after surgery. Feed us right after surgery. Hallelujah. Amen.

yes the dr. was great but next time I would like to see the dr. that did the surgery.
You know, as I go back to [...] when I first got...was injured and was shipped to [...][...] and met PA. Heather and Dr. [...], they have been awesome. I would definitely recommend them. I don't wish bad and injury on anyone, but if they had to go to anyone, I have recommended several people to their clinic because they are awesome. They have great bedside manner and they are just caring people. I love them.
My provider, she took her time with me. She didn't rush me. She made me feel as if I was her only patient. And she listened to my concerns and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to satisfy all my needs. She is one in a million. I would recommend her to everyone.
