My experience with the UT Plastic Surgeon Physician, which was Dr. Blackup and Haley Newman was awesome. I could not think of a better doctor I would have wanted. Bedside manners was immaculate. I would recommend them to anyone ... everyone who is looking for plastic surgery to be done on them. I absolutely love it.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the care and the service that I was given with you guys while I was at UT Houston and receiving my treatment for my gender-affirming procedure. Everyone was super respectful, super responsive, and willing to answer my questions and be patient with me, even in my extenuating circumstances. So thank you all very much for everything that you do and for your professionalism and your compassion in a difficult time. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be making people aware that courting or auxiliary webbing syndrome is a possibility for this type of procedure. I was unfamiliar with it prior to my procedure and I'm now dealing with it as a side effect. No regrets whatsoever about the procedure, totally treatable, and was given a quick referral to PT, but it is something that I think other people would benefit from knowing about in advance. Thank you guys again for everything that you do and I hope that everyone in the future receives the same care. Goodbye.

All the staff was friendly and helpful!

Mrs. Haley was very kind and helpful to me. I went to the consultation with an open wound from abdominal surgery and she was very professional and did her job of dressing it very well. The only problem is that I have to do these dressings at home and I don't have the knowledge or the appropriate medical equipment to do it. Maybe they should provide a place near my house so that someone can do these dressings for me and thus I can avoid an infection.
