Ha T. Nguyen, MD, was born in Vietnam and raised in Minnesota. After obtaining her undergraduate in biology at The University of Texas at Dallas, she went to medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She realized her passion was caring for women of all ages and decided to dedicate her career to obstetrics and gynecology. Nguyen finished her residency at UTHealth Houston in 2017. She stayed on as an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School.
She enjoys working with medical students and residents. Nguyen is particularly interested in obstetrics, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, well-woman visits, and abnormal pap smears.
Nguyen lives in Houston with her husband and son and enjoys traveling, reading books, trying new restaurants, and practicing yoga.

The only thing I did not like was that their was sick people in the lobby with people that were not sick

I think that the provider did exceptionally well. I've had this procedure done twice and the anxiety of getting it done is stressful. Knowing that she also had this procedure done, she was very attentive, very trustworthy, very gentle, very fast, and very efficient with handling me with the utmost respect and care and I really, really do appreciate her. This is the first experience that I've had at UC Physicians where I felt like the provider did her job and understood where I was coming from. No attitude, no mistreatment. The nurses need to be more hands on with pregnant patients. Example helping them on off table and leaning back on table and sitting up.
