Dr. Gordon Martin is an Assistant Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Board certified in vascular surgery by the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Martin is experienced in surgical reconstruction, minimally invasive interventions, varicose veins and the medical management of vascular disorders. His broad background includes caring for conditions related to the following specialties: vascular surgery, endovascular therapy, peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid disease and dialysis access.
Dr. Martin has been published on a number of occasions and has given presentations to audiences throughout the state of Texas on a range of topics, including carotid, aortic and visceral occlusive disease.
He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgeons, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, American Medical Association, Texas Surgical Society, Society of Baylor Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and Vascular Access Society of the Americas.

I felt really secure from the time I walk in, to the girl at the front desk, all the way up, the nurses were very kind. They took time to find my vein with the machine. Dr. Martin and his anesthesiologist and his nurse, they were very, very kind to me. Funny, laugh at my jokes. So, I had a good experience with them. Thank you.

Very professional and positive.
All just fine. They put me to sleep. Dr Martin placed a carotid stent him the artery and addressed the blockage issue. After that, he, or somebody, closed me up with glue. When my carotid problem as (hopefully) fixed, the Anesthesiologist successfully woke me up. So far, it seems he apparently did OK.
There was no wait time. Everyone friendly and professional. Parking somewhat problematic (don't like valets driving my Porsche)
Dr Martin is an angel made me feel so calm and safe about my surgery. I was so afraid but his demeanor just made me so calm .I trust him with my life. Thank God for him

I feel Dr. Gordon was polite and professional. I was unaware I had varicose veins. I just thought a knot had developed and was rubbing against my vein. Then, to find out there is a problem with other veins in my leg was a shock. I just thought I had pimples! Of he can help relieve the pain and cramps, it would be the best diagnosis ever!
Dr. Martin is thorough and precise and personable. His staff is competent. I waited 5 minutes for a room and very little time I. The room before he came in. He was totally up to date on my case and made good recommendations for next steps. His scheduler had three appointments completed in just a few minutes. Very pleased with this office and doctor.

Everyone was very kind.
I was nervous as anyone would be I was greeted with a friendly "front" staff, and in minutes taken to a room. The nurse immediately put me at ease-saw my limited ability-and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. When Dr. Martin came in, he shook my hand, explained the procedure and proceeded-continuing to make sure I was okay the entire time. When he was finished, he told me exactly what to expect and instructions in taking care. Turns out I had no reason whatsoever to be nervous. I left there knowing I had made the best choice in choosing Dr. Martin and his staff.
