I went ER WHMC in Lufkin, PCP office did a phone call visit, didn't have the ER info, asked about area of pain in my side, ER gave me copy of my blood work before I checked out. PCP couldn't see me, I brought my ER PW, gave it to Martin Suell, he checked it told me my Platelets were low. He had already checked our EKGs, Nurse notes. Martin went conferred with Dr McPherson and both came in, went over both our records said getting me appt to see Dr Idowu (Nunley sees Dr Idowu). They're great

There is nothing else anyone in this office could have done to make me feel assured that my health care was in good hands. From the scheduling to checkout everything was top tier. They were thorough and knew my medical history better than I did and used my history, labs, scans and concerns to make informed recommendations. Including me in my health journey at every step where a plan or decision needed to be made. In my opinion, this type of care makes you feel empowered and feel like your health is really in your hands and they are just their to assist you along the way. A good balance of medicine and self maintenance. Plus Dr. McPherson's calming and trusting nature could convince a two year old to take their medicine. He and his team definitely made sure I felt like a person that they did their homework on and not just a health issue. Awesome Five Star Team.

McPherson is a great doctor!

Martin interviewed me for about 20 minutes about my condition. As always , he was very thorough and caring. Then he reported what we had discussed to Dr. Mc Pherson. The doctor then came in for just 2-3 minutes, and seemed rushed, completely unusual for him. He usually talks longer with me. Still, even in the short time he was with me, he was his usual warm, caring self. He always inspires confidence in his concern for me.

Feb 14, 2025

Everyone at the office was very nice and I enjoyed my visit.

Feb 10, 2025

You need to make sure appointments are set at a quicker time frame depending on the case I had to wait more than 3 months for an appointment That is not good Similarly testing should be done within a week or 15 days max If facility does not take that into consideration patients will not be satisfied
