I absolutely love Dr. Kim and his whole staff. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all your hard work.

May 21, 2025

At least Dr. Kim touched my back. Most doctors and nurse practitioners don't want to touch you anymore to figure out why you have so much pain, just want to medicate...

May 21, 2025

Everything was fine, the doctor explained things well, but I felt it was fast and he didn't tell me if I had an appointment.

May 20, 2025

The provider never asked if I had any questions, didn't explain how I could achieve relief until I recieve injections, and talked so fast I didn't have time to digest what he told me before he left the room to go to the next patient.

Give more detailed explanation for after surgery expectations.

Professional and friendly.

Dr. Kim is very personable and very skilled as evidenced by the positive outcome of the surgery on my neck.

The experience was one that I should have looked at a little different. Dt Kim recommended me to see a pain Medical provider. That sounds good, but I don't think a pain Manager is in my best interest at 88 yrs of years. Palin is not my Basic problem.

Overall, his health profession, I think was excellent. I think I answered the first three questions wrong. I give him a 10 on his professionalism, his courtesy, his kindness, and his staff members excellent. Everything was great.

A reminder to top management... Your care team members need enough time to listen, hear & serve. It's like five star restaurant that delivers "so- so" service because the servers' tables have been filled/seated too aggressively. Timing between isn't easy, sometimes it's easy to ignore, but it is a factor that separates the best from the rest. Thank you

He needed MRI to determine the next step.

Apr 23, 2025

Visit time was extremely short despite getting major news about diagnosis/MRI results severity and major unexpected surgery news. I felt provider was busy/in a rush, and the clear impression was that he did not have enough time to listen fully to concerns, feelings, etc, which I somewhat understand in the setting of a very busy neurosurgeon's day to day, but also don't think it's ok for great patient care. Baton was passed quickly to PA for surgery explanation and was left with many unanswered questions and very uncertain, scared feeling. What may seem like an easy, routine surgery to the office and providers is actually huge and scary to me, but I did not feel the empathy or sensitivity was completely there. We did not go over other options, risks, complications, more important things. Now that I've finally had a chance to read over brochures and somewhat process info, I communicated important questions via My Chart as told, but no significant response, and seems no one is there to cover for PA either when out of office for 1+ week? A little worried about communication afterwards in the unfortunate event that I have complications post op or need help. Had to schedule a whole new appt again just to ask questions, which is extra commute time, fairly far travel, stress and money, but still need the info and questions answered so of course will do what is needed. The whole process of having to see PA, then get imaging ordered and done, then see Dr to get results, then schedule another appt to ask questions, etc with wait times in between each appt, has just been long and frustrating and seems to delay care. Maybe it was just a very busy day on that day, but 10-20 minutes per patient is absolutely not enough. Hoping my next appt goes well and I have better feelings after getting all my questions asked and another opportunity for care and compassion. I do trust his medical and surgical expertise however and know he is a renowned, amazing and advanced neurosurgeon with numerous years under his belt, so this does give me confidence.
