Excellent staff and communication. The surgery was successful and this follow-up was helpful as I'm reaching the next level of abilities, but a minor setback from overdoing it.

Dr. Kim is probably one of the best doctors I've ever had. He has worked with me through some really difficult times and has done an exceptionally good job at communicating with me and allowing me to communicate with him. He's been extremely responsive to any problems that I may have or any needs that I have and I basically look at him as saving my life. I hope you guys relay that message to him because he's a fantastic doctor and has done a great job helping me and I really, really appreciate it.

I took off early from my day job and had to call into my night job because I had to travel an hour and 20 minutes to get to my appointment. Dr. Kim was not in the room 5 minutes before he left. I was told I had to see him because of the problems I was having from my surgery a week and a half ago. It was a waste of time. He blew me off. Told me my issues had nothing to do with my surgery though I didn't have any of these problems before. And when I brought up problems I was having from my right hand that he did surgery on in December he dismissed the pain I am now having in my wrist on a daily basis and told me if it hurts to just start wearing the wrist brace again. So I'm now having sharp pains on a daily basis from both wrists that he did surgery on and he doesn't care. Though he did say as he was leaving, If you have any other issues they are only a phone call away and leaves. After surgery on 214 I was having a lot of pain and I needed to schedule a follow-up appointment. I called a few hours after surgery. Nobody called me back. I called his office next Monday nobody called me back. I called Tuesday nobody called me back. I called Wednesday and finally I get a call back and I'm told here's my appointment time but then I'm told oh no you need to see Dr. Kim because you're having issues with your thumb and wrist, so we're going to postpone your appointment almost a week because of the pain. I needed an earlier appointment because I heal so quickly that my skin starts healing over the stitches and last time they had to dig for them and it was such an immense pain I don't think I could have someone do it again. Because I was put off a week. I removed the stitches myself over the weekend because the skin was already starting to heal over them. The problems that I'm now having in both hands and the way I am dismissed or call's not even returned if I could go back and do it over again I would find a different doctor in a heartbeat. The nursing staff at Dr. Kim's office has always been amazing. The front desk people are loud, obnoxious, and just cracking jokes and talking about people loudly while you're waiting. I'm not sure what I should do now because I'm afraid if I go to another orthopedic surgeon they will not want to touch me because it has been so recent that Dr. Kim did surgery on me. I have no confidence that anyone in his office has the desire to want to figure out what's going on and fix it. Having a doctor completely dismiss me when I am in a lot of pain (and crying on a daily basis because of it) and I'm not asking for meds of any sort. I want to know how to fix this because I spent at least a couple years in pain before the surgery and to now be told we don't care about your pain that is different from your old pain and this one comes completely from the surgery. I really feel like I had the surgery, the doctor got his money and now on to the next patient.

Feb 11, 2025

Because of my chronic pain issues I frequently have to go and see doctors, many appointments just in the last year. Generally speaking, the medical practitioners feel caring and compassionate, and I feel heard by them. Dr Kim was the opposite in every way. He was rude, arrogant, and kept interrupting me -  even when I was trying to answer the questions that he asked me. He also spoke very loudly and bluntly to the extent that it kind of felt like he was yelling at me the whole time. It felt like he just wanted to shut me up and make me leave. I was honestly shocked based on some of the reviews I've read online. Whoever that kind, reassuring doctor is that makes people not feel rushed and makes them feel listened to, was not the man I met. Typically when I read reviews saying that people think doctors are rude, I don't get that impression at all when I go to see the doctor. But in this case, Dr Kim is on par with the rudest doctor I've ever met in my entire life. Uncaring, would not let me speak, cut me off over and over again when I was attempting to communicate. What a horrible experience for someone who is simply trying to get care for a chronic nerve injury.

The doctor gave me confidence and peace of mind to undergo surgery.

Feb 5, 2025

Dr. Lee was very energetic, intelligent, likable and easy to understand. His process is thoughtful and thorough. He does not just want to do surgery but he wants to really investigate to see what my actual problem is. I like his style and have already recommended him to my brother.

Feb 5, 2025

Dr. Kim is superior surgeon. He spent time with me and answered all my questions, and I always have a lot. He is an expert in his field and I trust him and would recommend him in a heartbeat. His PA, Stephanie is fabulous. She is very kind and always responded to my correspondence through my chart when I had questions before and after my surgery. I was in severe pain when I first saw Dr. Kim and he helped me get the surgery I needed to get my life back. I trust him implicitly and have already recommended him to a friend.

Feb 4, 2025
