About

Christina L. Burrows is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in neuropsychological evaluation of adult memory disorders. She strives to provide patients with a positive atmosphere, patient-centered care, and a supportive experience. She provides cognitive assessments of dementias (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia), stroke, cerebrovascular disease, brain injury, movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease), multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.

She’s an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Her research interests include deep brain stimulation (DBS) for treatment-resistant depression. Other clinical and research interests include cognition in neurological and psychiatric conditions, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and biomarker correlates of cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Burrows is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the Houston Neuropsychological Society.
