Catron O’Dell, AuD, is an audiologist whose clinical interests include pediatric evaluations and amplification, electrophysiologic testing, and cochlear implants.
She is a board certified audiologist in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston audiology team.
She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2021. She serves on the Pediatric Audiology Task Force Committee for Houston as well as the The Turner Syndrome Adult Comprehensive Care Center (TSACCC) committee at UT Physicians.
She’s a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology, the American Cochlear Implant Alliance, The Turner Syndrome Society of the United States, and the Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advancement in Children.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. O'Dell meets my expectations very well. She communicates very well and thoroughly and insures we answer any questions I may have. She has been a big help in my journey of cochlear implant living.

Front desk behaved unhappy a little unfriendly. We couldnt find office easily. We went other building mistakenly. (6410 building) It should be written as 27th floor at the address. Generally 2700 is located at second floor.

All of the staff members I interacted with were really polite and friendly and professional, but I especially think Dr. O'Dell is amazing. She knows all these different ways to make my hearing aid work for me. I'm pretty new at using it, and I just think she's absolutely the best doctor I could have.

The Dr who did the hearing test was amazing but the Dr we spoke to after the hearing test was awful. We waited in a room for almost two hrs and when he FINALLY arrived he only spoke to us for two mins. Didnt know any information about why we were there. Didn't even have a chart open to brief read. Will never come back.

I wasn't too happy knowing that I have to go somewhere else to get the service I need or pay out of pocket once I did because I got that hearing aid from you guys and that was not the agreement that I had in the beginning so I wasn't happy with that at all. Thank you.

Dr. O'Dell greeted me in the waiting area and guided me to the testing location. She cautioned me about the floors incline to avoid any misstep. She clearly explained all aspects of the testing. She listened attentively and was responsive to all my questions. Dr. O'Dell is an exemple of the best attributes of a healthcare provider. She is a compassionate, cordial, gifted physician. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Dell to anyone.
