Dr. Biswajit Kar is a Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, Dr. Kar has practiced medicine in Houston since 1995. His clinical interests include structural and congenital heart diseases.
A member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Artificial Organs, the American College of Physicians, the Heart Failure Society of America and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, he has published over one hundred original articles in medical journals as well as book chapters.
