Binh Nguyen, M.D., is an assistant professor of rheumatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. Upon finishing his fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Dr. Nguyen started working at UT Physicians in 2010.

Dr. Nguyen was very patient, listened to all of my queries, explained everything in detail & offered solutions/options for treatment!!! It takes a while to get an appointment with him but he's worth the wait!!!

My one complain is it very difficult to get and appointment with my provider. I had a flare up and I was in lots of pain. I really wanted to see my provider and there was no available appointment for 3 months. This is just not right. I do not want to change provider but, I might have to consider because of the availability of my provider. You need another rheumatologist at this clinic.
Yes, I love Dr. Nguyen. He's an awesome doctor. I've been seeing him for quite a while now. If you were to leave there, I would follow him. But the staff are all great. The only problem I ever have is trying to get refills, and sometimes it takes a week or more. So that's the only thing I would change. Thank you.

Ana in the front desk was helpful . Daniel and X-ray tech were efficient. Dr Nguyen listen to my needs and always a pleasure to see him . Awesome staff.
I like my doctor. He's funny. He listens to me. He lets me ask questions. He tries to help me and I like the people in office. They're very friendly. They're very nice and everybody is accommodating. So I like coming there and that's why even though I have to drive three and a half hours to get there, I will still go.

My experience on my visit with Dr. Nguyen on 2/25/2025 was very good as always! He came to the patient room on time, started my visit by asking how I was doing in the past 6 months, listened carefully, went over the abnormal tests results with me and asked if I had any symptoms, checked out my physical conditions, answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, renewed my prescription, and provided guidance and suggestions on how I could improve my osteoporosis condition and my overall health. Dr. Nguyen is caring and efficient, an excellent physician! I always felt better after my visit with him.
He is one of the few doctors that's not DEI. I've been going to Dr. Nguyen for 15 years. His office is over an hour from me and it's worth the drive
