Bhavani Iyer, DO, FAAO, is the director of the Dan Arnold Center for Vision Rehabilitation. The center includes adaptive computer training, driving simulation, and a full kitchen to help patients with visual rehabilitation.
At the clinic, Iyer takes pride in assisting patients with resuming everyday activities, such as reading and driving, after suffering low vision caused by macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes, stroke, or other conditions.
Iyer received her doctorate from Michigan College of Optometry in 1997, after earning her baccalaureate in optometry in India. She completed a low vision fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry in Rockville, Maryland. In 2020, she reached a milestone by becoming a low vision diplomate through the American Academy of Optometry.
All patient experience ratings and comments are submitted by actual patients and are received and validated by a leading independent survey company, NRC Health.

NOTE: There was no discussion about preventing illness or injury because it was not that kind of situation and there was nothing to discuss. All my questions were answered and my provider listened carefully to my input and was extremely responsive. The exam and results of it were very good!

Dr. Iyer is the best! We have been seeing her since my son was little, he's 19 now. We wouldn't see anyone else but her. She is fantastic and caring and wants the best for my son.
