Asmeen Bhatt, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained specialist in gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She specializes in obesity management and bariatric endoscopy and is committed to helping her patients lose weight and lead healthy lifestyles.
Bhatt received her doctorate in cell and molecular biology at Kent State, completed her residency in internal medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation, and completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at The University of Texas Medical Branch. She has conducted research on liver diseases and presented her data at national and international conferences. Her findings have been published in various renowned scientific medical journals.
Outside of work, Bhatt enjoys spending quality time with family, going outdoors, traveling, cooking, and watching movies.
Please note that at the UT Physicians Multispecialty – Bayshore location, Bhatt’s care is only focused on meal replacement as a weight loss strategy.
