Asha R. Cherian is a board-certified nurse practitioner (NP) who sees family medicine patients 12 years and older. She tailors evidence-based care plans to each person and strives to instill hope in all her patients. Cherian believes the best outcomes can be achieved with a strong patient-provider relationship that includes mutual respect and understanding. Her patients value the genuine conversations that allow them to have input on their health care plan.
Cherian received her degree from Walden University in 2014. She has worked in oncology nursing with leukemia patients and in community-based clinics in underserved areas in Texas and California.
She’s a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurse Association.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and cooking.
